This privacy policy describes how the RentenTracker app handles your data.

1. Controller

2. General

This privacy policy applies worldwide to all users of the app. The RentenTracker app processes exclusively data that is stored locally on the user's device. No personal data is transmitted to me or to third parties. The app is designed so that only the data absolutely necessary for providing the features is processed ("Privacy by Design").

3. What Data Is Processed?

3.1 Local App Data (on the device)

The app stores the following information exclusively locally on your device: – your configured retirement date – your selected federal state – vacation days you have entered – vacation days you have marked in the calendar – app settings (e.g. display/theme) This data is used only to provide you with the app's features (e.g. calculating the remaining days until retirement). This data does not leave your device.

3.2 No Creation of User Profiles

No personal profiles are created. The app uses neither registration nor a login system; it is not possible for me to link data to a specific person.

3.3 Data Collected by Embedded Google SDKs

The app uses two Google SDKs that are technically required for app functionality. They are not actively read by the app itself, but they automatically transmit an Android device ID to Google: – Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases for the Premium Widgets – Firebase Cloud Messaging — included as a dependency of the notification library used by the app, even though the app only sends local notifications Properties of this data collection: – Collected: Yes – Shared with further third parties: No – Purpose: app functionality (in-app purchases and notification infrastructure) – Encrypted in transit: Yes (HTTPS/TLS) – Optional: No, technically required – User deletion: Not possible, as managed by Google – Recipient: Google (Play Services, Firebase) Any further processing by Google takes place under Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

4. Permissions & Device Access

Depending on use, certain permissions may be requested. These permissions are used exclusively for the stated purposes.

4.1 Local Storage

The app stores settings and inputs (e.g. retirement date, vacation, federal state) locally in an app-specific storage area on your device. No data is transmitted to a server.

4.2 Push Notifications

The app uses only local notifications generated directly on your device. No push messages are sent from a server operated by the app. For technical reasons, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) is included as a dependency of the notification library used. As a result, Google may automatically collect an Android device ID even though the app does not send any server-based push notifications (see section 3.3). You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.

5. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing & Apple App Store)

The app offers optional paid additional features ("Premium") as a one-time purchase. Payment processing is handled exclusively through the respective app store (Google Play Store on Android, Apple App Store on iOS). As part of the purchase, Google or Apple independently processes payment and transaction data (e.g. payment information, order numbers or purchase status). I receive no access to payment data or personal information. The app only receives the technical confirmation from the respective store that a purchase was successfully completed, in order to unlock premium features. In addition, the embedded Google Play Billing SDK automatically transmits an Android device ID to Google (see section 3.3). 6. No Disclosure to Third Parties

Other than the technically required transmission of the Android device ID to Google described in section 3.3, no data is disclosed to third parties. In particular, the app itself does not collect: – no personal data (name, email address, phone number) – no location data – no user accounts or login data – no analytics or tracking data (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no Sentry, etc.) – no advertising or advertising IDs – no access to contacts, photos, calendar, files or microphone – no behavioural or app usage data

7. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract), insofar as the data is necessary for providing the app's features. Use of the app is voluntary.

8. Storage Period & Deletion

All data is stored exclusively locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by: – uninstalling the app, or – resetting the app data in your device's system settings After uninstalling the app, all locally stored data is removed.

9. Your Rights

To the extent that personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is processed, you have the following rights: – Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) – Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) – Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) – Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) – Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) Since the app does not transmit any data to me and stores data exclusively locally, most of these rights can be exercised directly by you via your device's settings (deleting app data or uninstalling). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data violates the GDPR.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the app or the underlying legal framework changes. The current version is available at this URL.
