Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-10-01
This privacy policy describes how the AllesTracker app (EverythingTracker in English) handles your data.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing in connection with this app within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is: Vincent Wälken Meldorfer Straße 8 20251 Hamburg Germany Email: support@smartappsdigital.de
2. General information
This privacy policy applies worldwide to all users of the AllesTracker app. The app only processes data that is stored locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted to me or to any third party. The app requires no user account and no registration, and it has no server of its own. The public holiday data ships inside the app. Countdowns, counters, workday calculations and widgets work without an internet connection. The app is designed so that only the data strictly necessary to provide its features is processed (“privacy by design”).
3. Which data is processed?
3.1 Local app data (on your device)
The app stores the following information exclusively on your device: – your events: name, date, type (countdown, since or yearly), emoji, color and an optional photo – which event is pinned for your widget, and the reminder settings for each event – your country and region for public holidays, your own holidays and your work week – the widgets you create and their designs (background, font, layout, colors) – whether Premium has been unlocked – app settings (e.g. language, appearance) This data is used solely to provide the app's features (e.g. counting the days and workdays until an event, showing your widgets, sending reminders). This data never leaves your device.
3.2 No user profiling
No personal profiles are created. The app uses neither registration nor a login system; I cannot link the data to any specific person.
3.3 Data collected by embedded Google SDKs (Android only)
The Android version uses two Google SDKs that are technically required for app functionality. The app itself does not read them, but they automatically transmit an Android device ID to Google: – Google Play Billing: processes the Premium in-app purchase – Firebase Cloud Messaging: included as a dependency of the notification library used, even though the app only sends local notifications Properties of this data collection: – Collected: Yes – Shared with further third parties: No – Purpose: app functionality (in-app purchases and notification infrastructure) – Encrypted in transit: Yes (HTTPS/TLS) – Optional: No, technically required – User deletion: Not possible, as managed by Google – Recipient: Google (Play Services, Firebase) Any further processing by Google takes place under Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy The iOS version contains no such SDK.
4. Permissions & access to device data
Depending on use, certain permissions may be requested. These permissions are used exclusively for the purposes stated below.
4.1 Local storage and widgets
The app stores your events and settings locally in an app-specific storage area on your device. So that your home screen and Lock Screen widgets can show your events, the app shares this data with its own widgets through a storage area on the same device. Widgets are refreshed in the background on the device. Nothing is transmitted to a server.
4.2 Photos
If you add a photo to an event or use one as a widget background, you choose it yourself from your photo library. For this the app may ask for access to your photos. The app only uses the photos you select: it saves a resized copy in its own storage area so that the event and your widgets can show it. Your photo stays on your device and is not uploaded anywhere. Deleting the event or the photo in the app removes that copy.
4.3 Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app requests notification permission. Reminders (one week before, the day before and on the day of an event, and counter milestones) are scheduled and triggered exclusively on the device. No push messages are sent from a server. On Android, Firebase Cloud Messaging is included as a dependency of the notification library for technical reasons, so Google may collect an Android device ID (see section 3.3). On iOS, no push service is used. You can switch reminders off for each event in the app, or disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.
4.4 Sharing
If you share a countdown as an image, the app creates the image on your device and opens the system share sheet. You decide what is shared and with whom; the app itself transmits nothing.
4.5 Internet connection
An internet connection is only needed for the optional Premium purchase and its restoration, and when you tap through to an external website from within the app (e.g. an official source for public holidays).
5. In-app purchases (Apple App Store & Google Play Billing)
The app offers optional paid features (“Premium”) as a one-time purchase. Payment is handled exclusively by the respective app store (Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play Store on Android). As part of the purchase, Apple and Google process payment and transaction data (e.g. payment details, order numbers or purchase status) under their own responsibility. I receive no access to payment data or personal information. The app only receives the technical information from the store as to whether a purchase completed successfully, in order to unlock the Premium features. This information is stored locally on the device so that Premium also applies offline. The privacy policies of the following also apply: Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy/ Google: policies.google.com/privacy
6. No disclosure to third parties
Apart from the technically required Google SDKs on Android described in section 3.3, no data is passed on to third parties. In particular: – no advertising networks are used – no analytics or tracking services are integrated (e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics) – no advertising IDs are read – no data is shared with other companies or organisations
7. Legal basis for processing
Data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract), insofar as the data is required to provide the app's features. Use of the app is voluntary.
8. Retention & deletion
All data is stored exclusively on your device. You can delete it at any time by: – deleting individual events or photos in the app, – resetting the app data in your device's system settings, or – uninstalling the app Once the app is uninstalled, all locally stored data, including your photo copies, is removed. Your Premium purchase is unaffected and can be recovered at any time via “Restore purchase” using the same store account.
9. Your rights
Insofar as personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is processed, you have the following rights: – right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) – right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) – right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) – right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) – right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) Because the app transmits no data to me and stores everything locally, you can exercise most of these rights directly through the app or your device settings (deleting events, resetting app data or uninstalling). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data infringes the GDPR.
10. Note on public holiday data
The public holidays included in the app are compiled with care but provided without guarantee. Only the official publications of the respective country or region are binding.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy may be adapted if the app or the underlying legal framework changes. The current version is always available at this URL.
